Pokémon Building 101: 12:30 pm
Learn the intricacies of Pokémon breeding from the experts at KogaraCon's exclusive panel. Our experienced trainers will guide you through egg groups, breeding chains, IVs, and nature to help you create the ultimate team. Whether you're a seasoned breeder or just starting out, our panel is the perfect opportunity to expand your skills and become a true Pokemon master.
Pokémon Trivia Competition: 2 pm
Calling all Pokemon fans! Do you think you know everything there is to know about the world of Pokemon? Put your knowledge to the test at our exclusive Pokemon trivia panel at KogaraCon. Our panelists will challenge you with niche Pokemon facts and unique quests that will put your skills to the test. From the original 151 to the latest generations, our questions will cover all aspects of the Pokemon world, so bring your A-game!
But don't worry if you're not a Pokemon expert just yet. Our panel is designed for fans of all levels, and our panelists will provide plenty of hints and clues to help you along the way. Plus, you'll have the chance to connect with other fans and show off your skills as a true Pokemon master.
VGC Casual Watch Party: 12 pm to close/VGC end, in-between Philly Pokemon events
Attention all Pokemon trainers! Come join us at KogaraCon's VGC Regionals watch-party where you can watch the most exciting Pokemon battles from around the world. From nail-biting finishes to epic showdowns, our panelists will guide you through the action and provide expert commentary along the way.

6v6 singles, no legendaries: Begins at 3:30pm, register before 3:15pm
Join us for the ultimate Pokemon battle. The Philadelphia Pokemon League is hosting a no legends, singles, bring 6 pick 6 tournament! Compete against other skilled trainers with no holds barred and show off your best team for a chance to win it all.

you can register with us in-person at Kogaracon no later than 3:15pm
Tournament Rules:
Format: Bring 6 play 6 Singles double elimination Tournament.
Terastalization is allowed for this event.
Booster Energy is allowed for this event.
Endless Battle Clause: There are some combos that can cause endless loops such as Leppa Berry + Recycle +Heal Pulse. ALL FORMS OF ENDLESS LOOPS ARE BANNED.
Species Clause: You may not have two of the same Pokèmon on your team. Pokèmon such as Rotom have several variants although they share the same National Dex number you may use more than one of Pokèmon such as this if they are not the same variant. This variant exception will also apply to Aloha Forms in Sun and Moon.
Item Clause: You may not have two or more Pokèmon with the same item on your team.
Evasion Clause: A player cannot increase their Pokémon's evasion stat with a move that specifically increases evasion. Items or indirect boosts do not break this clause.
One Hit KO Clause: You may not use any move that may result in a one hit KO such as: Fissure, Horn Drill, Sheer Cold, and Guillotine.
Sleep Clause: You may only willingly put two enemy Pokèmon to sleep at any one time. This amount is not effected by secondary effects (e.g., Gmax moves, Effect Spore).
Legendary Pokèmon Clause: You may not use any Legendary Pokèmon, or Mythics such as: Koraidon, Miraidon, Ting-Lu, Chien-Po, Wo-Chien, Chi-Yu, Arceus, Articuno, Azelf, Calyrex, Cresselia, Dialga, Diancie, Enamorus, Eternatus, Giratina, Glastrier, Groudon, Heatran, Hoopa, Kyogre, Landorus, Magearna, Meloetta, Mew, Mewtwo, Moltres, Palkia, Rayquaza, Regidrago, Regieleki, Spectrier, Tornadus, Urshifu, Uxie, Volcanion, Zacien, Zamezenta, Zapdos, Walking Wake, Iron Leaves, and Zarude.
Fair Fight Clause: You may not use the internet or receive aid from another player during or before any match, however you may use a blank sheet of paper and a writing utensil. It is polite to not have your phone out during matches to curtail impressions of such bad behavior.
Timer Clause: Due to the restrictive 20 minute time in link battles all Gym battles will be hosted as local tournaments by a member of the league. Our official settings for Tournament matches are a 7 minute personal or chess timer coupled with an unlimited match timer.
